WWE REPORTEDLY RELEASES SASHA BANKS

Sasha Banks has been released by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Wrestling Inc’s Raj Giri broke the news earlier this evening. It’s not clear whether Sasha Banks requested her release or if the decision came from WWE.

WWE fans will recall that Sasha Banks and Naomi were suspended indefinitely a few weeks ago. Banks and Naomi were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and were suspended without pay after they walked out on the May 16 episode of Monday Night RAW. Neither Banks nor Naomi have commented on walking out on WWE or their suspensions.

WWE has yet to confirm the release.
