SUMMERSLAM 1989

SummerSlam 1989 was the second annual SummerSlam event produced by the World Wrestling Federation. Held on August 28, 1989, at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the event was headlined by The Mega Powers of Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake defeating Randy Savage and Zeus in the main event. The show also featured several championship matches and continued to establish SummerSlam as one of WWE’s premier annual events.
