ROMAN REIGNS WON’T BE PART OF MONEY IN THE BANK 2022
There are multiple reports online stating that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will not competing at Money in the Bank this year. Rumor had it that he was to face Riddle in the main event. But Reigns was removed from MITB 2022’s poster after the pay-per-view event was moved from Allegiant Stadium to the smaller venue, MGM Grand Arena.
Reigns agreed to a new WWE contract with a reduced working schedule for house shows, televised events and WWE pay-per-view events. He was not at this year’s Hell In A Cell Card and he also didn’t defend his title at WrestleMania Backlash. Fans will recall he teamed with The Usos in a six-man match against Drew McIntyre, Riddle and Randy Orton.
Reigns isn’t the only superstar who won’t be at Money in the Bank; SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar and Charlotte Flair are among the other wrestlers who were removed from MITB advertising.
