Several sources have reported the reason behind Braun Strowman’s kayfabe suspension this past week is due to an injury he suffered at Survivor Series.
WWE fans will recall that Strowman (real name Adam Scherr) assaulted WWE Official Adam Pearce on Monday Night RAW this past week. This in turn led to the announcement of his ‘suspension.’ This kayfabe suspension is, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, to allow Strowman time to recover from a knee injury.
Strowman will still likely go on to face Drew McIntyre at TLC next month. Rumor has it that he will also be presented as a heel moving forward. So, it’s possible his ‘suspension’ could be used to build heat on his character.
On next week’s RAW, a No.1 contenders triple threat match will decide Drew McIntyre’s next challenger.
