Former WWE wrestler, Duane Gill is recovering from a heart attack on Wednesday. According to WWE’s James Ellsworth, Gillberg was released from the ICU on Friday.
Duane Gill wrestled for WWE (then WWF) during the Attitude Era under the ring name, Gillberg, which was a parody of then-rival promotion WCW’s top star, Goldberg.
While wrestling for WWF, Gillberg was a one-time lightweight champion and held the title for a record 15 months. He officially retired for wrestling in February 2020.
