CM PUNK RETURNS TO WWE AT SURVIVOR SERIES 2023

CM Punk has returned to WWE! At last night’s Survivor Series WarGames pay-per-view event, CM Punk made his return after the men’s wargames match concluded.

CM Punk, whose real name is Phillip Jack Brooks, began his professional wrestling career in 1999. He worked on the independent circuit, mostly for the promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) where he won the ROH World Championship. In 2005, Brooks signed with WWE and won the WWE Championship twice, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, and the Intercontinental Champion and ECW World Heavyweight Championships once each. He became a WWE Triple Crown Champion when he won the WWE World Tag Team Championship. CM Punk left WWE and retired from professional wrestling in 2014. He made his return to wrestling in 2021 by signing with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). During his time with AEW, he won the AEW World Championship twice, but was fired in September 2023 after he got into fights backstage.
