Dragon Lee Captures His First WWE Title at NXT Deadline

At this past weekend’s NXT Deadline pay-per-view, Dragon Lee defeated Dirty Dominik Mysterio to become the new NXT North American Champion. Lee beat Mysterio after ducking a 619 and escaping a powerbomb. He then hit his own version of the Destino to win his first WWE title. Dominik Mysterio’s father Rey was at the event but in Dragon Lee’s corner. The Mysterios have been on the outs for over a year since Dominik joined the Judgment Day. Mysterio’s reign as NXT North American Championship lasted 66 days.
