WWE SUMMERSLAM 2023 PAY-PER-VIEW PREDICTIONS

Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor at SummerSlam 2023

WWE SUMMERSLAM 2023 MATCH CARD

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar. Singles match

This will most likely be the feud-ending match for this rivalry and it doesn’t seem too exciting. The other matches these two have had weren’t bad but just alright. But this one isn’t interesting due to the lack of a stipulation.  This rivalry has been really personal, but we all know how it ends. Cody Rhodes will pick up the win and finally move on to something new.

OUR PREDICTION: CODY RHODES

Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Finn Bálor. Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship

It’s not often that in modern WWE we have multiple compelling storylines heading into a premium live event, but this one has gained our interest. There are so many possible endings with this one. Either Balor finishes his story and wins the world title he’s been chasing for years, Seth Rollins retains and continues his excellent reign on top of the Raw roster, or Damian Priest cashes in betraying Balor for the title. Our prediction is that Finn Balor will be winning the title without a cash-in from Damian Priest.

OUR PREDICTION: FINN BALOR

Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair. Triple threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship

This has the potential to be the match of the night, but the ending might ruin it all. Charlotte Flair could potentially win here, and chances are she will. WWE sadly doesn’t care too much about Asuka despite her being one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world, so don’t expect her to hold onto that title for long. Bianca Belair most likely won’t get the title back, but keep your eyes on Charlotte Flair. We also believe that there is a chance Iyo Sky will cash in after the match and win the title, but it doesn’t seem too likely.

OUR PREDICTION: CHARLOTTE FLAIR

Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa) vs. Jey Uso. Tribal Combat for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and recognition of Tribal Chief

Jey Uso has been at the center of The Bloodline storyline all along, but now it’s finally his opportunity to end the ultimate title reign of Roman Reigns. Will he do it? No. Jey Uso winning the title would be a great moment, but where does WWE go after that? There aren’t any other possible enticing feuds for Jey Uso after he wins the title. Roman Reigns is going to retain after a great match and continue his reign until WrestleMania 40.

OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS

Ricochet vs. Logan Paul. Singles match

This match should be phenomenal. Hopefully, Logan Paul can keep up with Ricochet during the match, because an unexpected injury would not be good. Logan Paul has lost his last 4 big matches, and WWE doesn’t actually care about Ricochet, so we all know Logan Paul is going over here.

OUR PREDICTION: LOGAN PAUL

Gunther (c) (with Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci)) vs. Drew McIntyre. Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

This is one of the hardest matches to predict. It seems like WWE wants Gunther to become the longest-reigning champion, but then Drew McIntyre just came back and needs a credible victory. Either way the best choice is for Gunther to retain and continue his reign.

OUR PREDICTION: GUNTHER

Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler. MMA Rules match

In another match that seems hard to predict, it seems like it can go either way. The only reason we say that Shayna Baszler is because there is a high chance that Ronda Rousey leaves WWE after this match.

OUR PREDICTION: SHAYNA BASZLER
