EXTREME RULES: MCINTYRE VS KROSS IN STRAP MATCH
WWE has announced a new match for the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view event on Saturday, October 8. Drew McIntyre will face Karrion Kross at Extreme Rules in what’s being described as a brutal strap match.
Since making their debut on SmackDown, former NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Scarlett have been lurking around in the shadows and watching Drew McIntyre. They’ve even distracted McIntyre during his Undisputed WWE Universal Title Match against Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle. On the September 23rd episode of SmackDown, McIntyre revealed that WWE management had granted him a Strap Match against Kross at the WWE Extreme Rules Premium Live Event.
Karrion Kross then responded to the announcement by trying to ambush Drew McIntyre from behind. But, McIntyre was ready and unleashed a strap attack on Kross that ended when Scarlett hit him with a fireball and a low blow. This opened the door for Kross to again lock in the Kross Jacket and accept the Strap Match challenge.
