SUMMERSLAM 2022 MATCH CARD

Bianca Belair (c) defeated Becky Lynch. Singles match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship

OUR PREDICTION: BIANCA BELAIR
WINNER: BIANCA BELAIR
RATING: 7/10

This was a good match to start off the show. It was entertaining enough to keep you hooked throughout. The beginning of the match started out slow and it built up throughout becoming faster and more brutal as the match went on. They went outside of the ring and Bianca dropped Becky on the barricade. After some back and forth action, Bianca Belair hit Becky Lynch with the KOD for the victory. After the match Becky Lynch turned face and Bayley returned to face off with the champion alongside with a returning Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky (FKA Io Shirai). This was a good match but it didn’t have that big fight feel that their WrestleMania match had.

Logan Paul defeated The Miz (with Maryse and Ciampa). Singles match

OUR PREDICTION: LOGAN PAUL
WINNER: LOGAN PAUL
RATING: 7/10

Logan Paul did a great job in his first one-on-one match. He did some spots that some full time wrestlers can’t even do. The Miz had Ciampa in his corner, which meant that Ciampa got some cheap shots in on Logan Paul. But then AJ Styles came out to attack Ciampa and even the odds. The best spot of the match had Logan Paul jump from the top turnbuckle, onto the announce table to land on top of The Miz. Logan Paul picked up the win after hitting The Miz with a Skull Crushing Finale. We’re not fans of Logan Paul, but this performance was simply awesome.

Bobby Lashley (c) defeated Theory. Singles match for the WWE United States Championship

OUR PREDICTION: THEORY
WINNER: BOBBY LASHLEY
RATING: 4/10

This match is proof that Triple H is running the creative team now. Theory was a Vince guy and now he is losing match after match in a short amount of time. Theory got absolutely destroyed by Bobby Lashley. He hit Lashley over and over again, but he didn’t even phase Lashley. The match was short, and Lashley won with The Hurt Lock. It made Lashley look strong but it wasn’t the best match ring wise and it was under five minutes.

The Mysterios (Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio) defeated The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (with Rhea Ripley). No Disqualification tag team match

OUR PREDICTION: THE MYSTERIOS
WINNER: THE MYSTERIOS
RATING: 5/10

This match was fun and a good way to wake the crowd up after the last match. Rhea Ripley got involved in the match as well when she attacked Dominik Mysterio. There was a huge problem with this match though, it wasn’t memorable. The only reason that people are going to remember this match is because Edge returned to attack The Judgment Day at the end. The match ended after a double 619 to Finn Balor. It was fun but forgettable.

Pat McAfee defeated Happy Corbin. Singles match

OUR PREDICTION: PAT MCAFEE
WINNER: PAT MCAFEE
RATING: 5/10

We wish this match would have been better. It felt a little sloppy at points. Throughout the match Corbin was talking a lot of smack to Michael Cole. McAfee almost botched multiple times throughout the match, including almost slipping before a flip which would have been bad. This match might have been a bit too long for what it was and the highlight was McAfee’s entrance with the choir.

The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) defeated The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Jeff Jarrett served as the special guest referee

OUR PREDICTION: THE USOS
WINNER: THE USOS
RATING: 4/10

This was such a disappointing match. It was nothing compared to their match at Money in the Bank. Jeff Jarrett may also be the slowest referee of all time as his counting as it felt like it took an eternity. The match was a mess with Jarrett involved at points as he got too involved and was hit by The Street Profits making it even worse. Dawkins got hit with the 1D for the loss. This was a disappointing match with the wrong winner.

Liv Morgan (c) defeated Ronda Rousey. Singles match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

OUR PREDICTION: LIV MORGAN
WINNER: LIV MORGAN
RATING: 2/10

This was the worst match of SummerSlam. But at least Liv Morgan retained here. The match was the shortest of the night going under five minutes and didn’t have a single good spot in it. Liv Morgan rolled up Ronda Rousey after Liv got beat up the whole match and as Ronda’s shoulders were down on the mat, Liv Morgan tapped out. Ronda had her in an arm bar but the referee did not see it. This led to Ronda turning heel after the match and attacking Liv Morgan. She will presumably win the belt back at Clash at the Castle. The match was bad as was the finish, but once again thank goodness Liv remained champion.

Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) defeated Brock Lesnar. Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS
WINNER: ROMAN REIGNS
RATING: 9/10

In the best match of the night, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar went out there and shut down everyone who doubted them. Brock Lesnar came out on a tractor and lifted up the whole ring with it, causing Reigns to fall out of it. The Usos got involved as well. It was fast and chaotic as it should have been and actually kept us entertained throughout. Theory ran out to cash in but was stopped by Lesnar, so Theory still has the contract in his possession. Roman then hit Lesnar with the belt multiple times. The Usos threw tons of stuff on top of Lesnar to keep him down for ten seconds. Roman Reigns is still the head of the table. This match was the perfect way to end this long feud and hopefully this is the end of it forever.
