SummerSlam 2022 The Mysterios vs The Judgement Day

WWE SUMMERSLAM 2022 MATCH CARD

Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Brock Lesnar. Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

When it comes to this match, it seems like they have a lot they want to do with it and that makes it seem exciting. The only downside being that it’s another Reigns vs Lesnar match. The stipulation makes it interesting but this will just be the two men hitting finisher after finisher. We see The Usos losing their titles tonight, but Roman is retaining at SummerSlam.

OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS

Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin. Singles match

This is probably the easiest match of the night to predict. Corbin is going to lose. Happy Corbin is one of those guys who can take as many losses as they want and it won’t affect their career. Pat McAfee is also super popular with the crowd and he hasn’t had many matches on the main roster, so this should be great. These two could put on an exciting match as people always forget that Corbin isn’t a bad wrestler at all. Super excited for this one.

OUR PREDICTION: PAT MCAFEE

Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory. Singles match for the WWE United States Championship

With Triple H taking over, we have a feeling that Theory will not successfully cash in his Money in the Bank contract whenever he tries to cash it in. But. we can see him winning back the United States Championship at SummerSlam. He can elevate the title if he wants, and he can also just put on good matches. Lashley also needs this win.

OUR PREDICTION: THEORY

The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Jeff Jarrett will serve as the special guest referee.

After the match these two teams put on at Money in the Bank, there are only two ways this one can end. The Street Profits will breaking up or with them winning the titles. With Triple H now in charge, we can see them winning. This will all build up to Roman losing his titles next month at Clash at the Castle. This should be the best match of the night and hopefully it’s even better than their match at Money in the Bank.

OUR PREDICTION: THE STREET PROFITS

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey. Singles match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

This match is the hardest to predict because either way it feels like something is wrong. Ronda looks weak if she loses or Liv loses and the crowd boo’s Ronda out of the building. The only reason we can see Liv winning is because Triple H is a fan of Morgan’s work. This would be a great way to elevate her, and Triple H knows how to make the fans happy. This match won’t be amazing or anything, but hopefully Liv walks out champion.

OUR PREDICTION: LIV MORGAN

Bianca Belair (c) vs. Becky Lynch. Singles match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship

Last year at SummerSlam, Becky Lynch returned and beat Bianca Belair in seconds to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. So, we have a bold prediction here. Tonight Bianca Belair will do the same. She is going to get Becky Lynch, hit her with the KOD and walk out with her title seconds after the match even begins getting revenge for last year. Bold prediction, but we can see it happening.

OUR PREDICTION: BIANCA BELAIR

Logan Paul vs. The Miz. Singles match

We are not big fans of Logan Paul. But earlier this year at WrestleMania, he showed us that he can wrestle. We think that this could actually be one of the best matches of the night, and obviously Logan Paul is going to win. The only way he loses is if Ciampa helps The Miz win. That seems unlikely but they need to turn Logan Paul heel soon. He’s too punchable to be a good guy.

OUR PREDICTION: LOGAN PAUL

The Mysterios (Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio) vs. The Judgment Day (Damian Priest and Finn Bálor) (with Rhea Ripley). No Disqualification tag team match

Judgement Day needs to win and then Edge should come out to confront Finn Balor after the match. This should be fun, but The Mysterios don’t need this win. The Judgement Day have looked like a joke lately. It’s time for this whole story to pick up and we believe now is the time. This match should be brutal though, with lots of weapons and stuff, and we want to see Dominik turn on his father after the match, even though it probably won’t happen.

OUR PREDICTION: THE MYSTERIOS
