Dexter Lumis, Dakota Kai & Malcolm Bivens have been released from WWE's NXT

More Superstars Cut From NXT Roster

WWE has released several more superstars from its NXT 2.0 roster. According to Fightful, WWE released Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis, Malcolm Bivens, Harland, Persia Pirotta, Sanjana George, Draco Anthony, Mila Malani, Raelyn Divine, and Blair Baldwin.

Dakota Kai, whose real name is Cheree Georgina Crowley, hails from New Zealand and signed with the WWE in 2016. She had previously wrestled for promotions like Impact Pro Wrestling, Shimmer Women’s Athletes and Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance. During her time with WWE, Dakota Kai won the NXT Women’s Championship Invitational in 2018 and also held the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles alongside Raquel Gonzalez twice.

Dexter Lumis (real name Samuel Shaw) was another surprising release today. Lumis signed with WWE in 2019. His most memorable storyline was this past fall when he aligned with Johnny Gargano and The Way stable. This led to a romantic relationship with Indi Hartwell. The two would get married on-screen on the September 14, 2021 episode of NXT. Lumis’ last match with NXT was on April 19 where he teamed with Duke Hudson. The team lost to Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) in an NXT Tag Team Championship match.

Malcolm Bivens (Stokely Hathaway) joined the WWE in 2019 and is best known for his time in WWE on the NXT brand as manager to the Diamond Mine.
