WWE RELEASES NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPION NASH CARTER

Nash Carter, one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions MSK, has been released by WWE. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful broke the news today and it has been confirmed by multiple sources. Carter, whose real name is Zachary Green, has been accused of domestic assault by his wife and Impact Wrestling star, Kimber Lee. She shared a number of photos showing bruises of her face on her Twitter account on Monday.

Carter and Lee had just won the NXT Tag Team Championships on Saturday at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. They won a triple threat tag team match against champions Imperium and The Creed Brothers. No word yet on how NXT is going to handle the tag team titles. MSK appeared on NXT 2.0 last night and were scheduled to defend their titles against Grayson Waller and Sanga on the show next week. This was the second title reign for Nash Carter and Wes Lee. Carter had signed with WWE in late 2020 after a successful stint with Impact Wrestling. There has been no response to the allegations by Nash Carter.
