WWE CHAMPIONSHIP ELIMINATION CHAMBER

WWE Elimination Chamber

Elimination Chamber Match Announced

Bobby Lashley will defend his title against five elite challengers inside the career-altering Elimination Chamber on Saturday February 19. Elimination Chamber will take place from the world’s largest pillarless superdome in Jeddah Saudi Arabia.

After losing the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley at Royal Rumble 2022, Brock Lesnar showed up on Monday Night RAW last night. Lesnar was furious after Universal Champion Roman Reigns interfered in his match against Lashley. At last night’s RAW, Lesnar demanded to be added to the Elimination Chamber Match. WWE Official Adam Pearce agreed.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins also announced his entry into the match because of his performance at the Royal Rumble against Roman Reigns. Qualifying matches to determine other participants in the match also took place last night. Austin Theory, Riddle and A.J. Styles were victorious over Kevin Owens, Otis and Rey Mysterio thus securing their spots in the Elimination Chamber match.

As per WWE, the Elimination Chamber match will start with two Superstars in the ring and four other competitors enclosed in their own pods. Every five minutes a pod door will open allowing another competitor to join the contest. This process will continue until all pods are empty. When a Superstar is either pinned or submits, that Superstar will be eliminated and must exit the Elimination Chamber. The last Superstar remaining will be the WWE Champion.

WWE Elimination Chamber, presented in cooperation with The General Entertainment Authority and streaming LIVE from Jeddah, begins at noon ET/9 a.m. PT on Saturday, Feb. 19, on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network internationally.
