NXT WARGAMES 2021: PREDICTIONS
The 2021 NXT WarGames is the fifth annual WarGames professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It will be held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion’s NXT brand division. The event will air on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and will be available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network elsewhere, which will make it the first WarGames to air on Peacock. It is scheduled to take place on December 5, 2021, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
NXT WARGAMES 2021: MATCH CARD
Raquel González, Io Shirai, Cora Jade & Kay Lee Ray vs. Dakota Kai & Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne). WarGames match
This match is a hard one to predict but in the end, we think it will be Kay Lee Ray pinning Mandy Rose. The match should be fine but either team could win. Mandy Rose hasn’t been a great champion so far so hopefully her title reign gets better after the match.
OUR PREDICTION: Raquel González, Io Shirai, Cora Jade & Kay Lee Ray win
Cameron Grimes vs. Duke Hudson. Hair vs. Hair match
This is the easiest match of the night to predict. Cameron Grimes is going to win. There’s no way he loses his hair. Duke Hudson hasn’t done much since coming to NXT so hopefully he does something soon. This could be a big win for him but Cameron Grimes will most likely win.
OUR PREDICTION: Cameron Grimes wins
Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner. Tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship
Imperium is going to win. It’s a shame with how they’re treating Kyle O”Reilly right now. Why did they break up the Undisputed Era just to pair him with a ball of no charisma in Von Wagner? Imperium also just won the titles so we doubt that they will lose them here.
OUR PREDICTION: Imperium wins
Roderick Strong (c) (with The Diamond Mine) vs. Joe Gacy (with Harland). Singles match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship
With all the rumors about WWE retiring the Cruiserweight Championship again, we can definitely see Joe Gacy winning here. He is above the weight limit for the championship and this can make room for an NXT Television Championship or an NXT Openweight Championship. Joe Gacy will sadly be winning here.
OUR PREDICTION: Joe Gacy
Team Black & Gold (Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne & LA Knight) vs. Team 2.0 (Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller & Tony D’Angelo) (with Trick Williams). WarGames match
This will be the best match of the night – no doubt about it. This might also be Johnny Gargano’s last match in NXT. Due to this fact, we think 2.0 is going to win this match. Most likely with Bron Breakker pinning Johnny Gargano. This should still be an awesome match.
