ZELINA VEGA WINS INAUGURAL QUEEN’S CROWN TOURNAMENT

Zelina Vega made history today at WWE’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. She overcame the much stronger Doudrop to become the first-ever Queen’s Crown Champion.

At the start of the match, Vega and Doudrop met in the middle of the ring and had words. Doudrop then shoved Vega away but Vega came back with kicks. Doudrop caught one of Vega’s kick and headbutted her to the map. Vega comes back and flies off the top rope but was caught by Doudrop.

Doudrop went on the offensive with a big slam and then an elbow drop in the middle of the ring. She continues on the offensive until Vega turned it around and goes on the offense herself. Zelina Vega hits Doudrop with a big tornado DDT and covered Doudrop for a very close 2 count. She tried to cover again but Doudrop kicked out. Vega then applied a modified Dragon Sleeper but Doudrop smashes Vega back into the corner. She then levelled Vega with a clothesline and they both go down.

Doudrop then missed a corner cannonball and Vega attacked her but can’t get the pin. Doudrop countered and nailed a huge sidewalk slam for another close 2 count. Doudrop hit Vega with a big running senton for another close 2 count. As Doudrop went for a big splash, Vega moved out of the way and then delivered the Code Red powerbomb for the pin to win the tournament and become Queen.
