BECKY ‘THE MAN’ LYNCH RETURNS TO WWE AT SUMMERSLAM 2021

Becky “The Man” Lynch surprised the WWE Universe tonight at SummerSlam when she made her long awaited return. Lynch has been away from WWE since May 2020 when she announced her pregnancy with real life husband, Seth Rollins. The couple welcome their first child together, a daughter named Roux, in December 2020.

Bianca Belair was set to defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks but for reasons unknown, Banks was pulled off the card. Banks was replaced by Carmella and just as the match between Carmella and Belair was about to start, Lynch’s entrance music played much to the delight of fans.

Lynch proceeded to attack Carmella and then challenged Belair. The champion accepted, and almost as soon as the bell rang, Lynch connected with the Manhandle Slam to wrest the title away to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
