NXT TakeOver 36 is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view and WWE Network event produced by WWE for their NXT and NXT UK brand divisions. It will take place on August 22, 2021, and will be broadcast from the Capitol Wrestling Center, hosted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
NXT TAKEOVER 36 MATCH CARD
Trey Baxter vs Ridge Holland. Singles match
This match is going to be on the kickoff show and Ridge Holland is going to win probably in under ten minutes. Trey Baxter is a great performer but we wouldn’t be surprised if he got released soon due to the “budget cut.” Ridge Holland just returned as well so don’t bet against him.
OUR PREDICTON: Ridge Holland wins
Walter (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov. Singles match for the NXT United Kingdom Championship
This might be a bold prediction, but this is the end of Walter’s historic championship reign. Dragunov deserves that championship more than anyone on the brand right now. He is going to win. Walter has been an amazing champion so no shame for him either.
OUR PREDICTION: Ilja Dragunov wins
Karrion Kross (c) (with Scarlett) vs. Samoa Joe. Singles match for the NXT Championship
Samoa Joe is making his in ring return and we can see him winning the championship. It is time for us to see the first ever three time NXT Champion. Karrion Kross is most likely going to RAW after this loss further proving Joe’s victory.
OUR PREDICTION: Samoa Joe wins
Raquel González (c) vs. Dakota Kai. Singles match for the NXT Women’s Championship
Raquel González is most likely going to win. Personally, we’re not enjoying her title reign and think Dakota Kai should win the belt. We might be a but biased though since Dakota Kai is our favourite women’s wrestler. Maybe Dakota Kai could be called up to the main roster soon as well.

LA Knight (c) vs. Cameron Grimes (with Ted DiBiase). Singles match for the Million Dollar Championship
This is finally the time for Cameron Grimes to win the championship. This rivalry has been great all around and it sucks that this will be the end of it. Cameron Grimes deserves this victory though.
OUR PREDICTION: Cameron Grimes wins
Kyle O’Reilly vs. Adam Cole. Two-out-of-three-falls match
Kyle O’Reilly is going to win. With all the talk about Adam Cole possibly leaving and his contract expiring, we don’t see him getting this win. This will also be the end of their rivalry. It should end with Kyle O’Reilly standing tall over his former friend.
