Micky Foley wants Donald Trump removed from WWE's Hall of Fame

WWE legend Mick Foley wants Vince McMahon to remove Donald Trump from the WWE’s Hall of Fame. Mick Foley was inducted into the WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2013 – the same year that Trump was inducted.

Foley tweeted yesterday:

This tweet comes after outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump riled his supporters and encouraged their siege of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Donald Trump has a long history with the WWE. In 1988 and 1989, Trump Plaza hotel in New Jersey hosted WrestleMania. Then in 2007, Trump and Vince McMahon had an on-screen rivalry that led to the “Battle of the Billionaires” at WrestleMania 23. Trump was victorious thanks to his proxy Bobby Lashley defeating rival Umaga who represented McMahon.
