Amanda Rose Saccomanno is a 32-year-old professional wrestler, television personality and fitness competitor and bodybuilder. Saccomanno is currently signed with the WWE and performs on the company’s NXT brand under the ring name, Mandy Rose. She is also the current Women’s NXT Champion.

Before signing with the WWE, Mandy Rose had a career in fitness and bodybuilding from 2013 to 2014. The following year, she entered the WWE’s Tough Enough competition and placed second behind winners Sarah Lee and Josh Bredl. During the season finale of Tough Enough, Saccomanno adopted the ring name, Mandy Rose, and it was revealed after the finale that she signed to a five year contract with the WWE.

Mandy Rose’s WWE NXT Debut

Mandy Rose was assigned to the WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, where she made her in-ring debut in a six-woman tag team match at live event in Florida on January 30, 2016. She made her NXT television debut in August 2016.

In November 2017, Mandy Rose made her main roster debut on an episode of RAW where she attacked Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Bayley with her partners Sonya Deville and Paige. The trio of Rose, Deville and Paige formed the team known as Absolution and they made their main roster television debut in a winning match against Banks, James and Bayley in December 2017.

After the 2018 SuperStar Shake-up, Absolution broke up but Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were assigned to SmackDown and became known as Fire and Desire.

From December 2019 to present, Rose’s character has been involved in a love triangle storyline with wrestlers Otis and Dolph Ziggler. During an episode of SmackDown in April 2020, Many Rose’s friend and tag team partner Sonya Deville was shown to be interfering in her romance with Otis and has since created a feud. Deville cut Mandy’s hair in a backstage attack in August. That same month, Mandy Rose defeated Deville in a Loser Leaves WWE match at SummerSlam.

In September 2020, Mandy Rose was traded to the RAW brand. She then formed a tag team with Dana Brooke. In April 2021, the two competed in a tag team turmoil match during the first night of WrestleMania 37. They were eliminated by the Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott).

Mandy Rose Traded to NXT

Mandy Rose returned to the NXT brand in July 2021. The following month, she formed an alliance with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne dubbed Toxic Attraction.

Toxic Attraction’s golden dreams came true at NXT Halloween Havoc as Mandy Rose defeated Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship. Her alliance members Gigi Dolin & Jayne also won the Scareway to Hell Triple Threat Ladder Match to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.

At Halloween Havoc in October, Rose defeated Raquel González in a Chucky’s choice Trick or Street Fight match to win the NXT Women’s Championship, the first title in her wrestling career. Earlier that same night, Dolin and Jayne won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, in turn having Toxic Attraction holding all women’s championships in NXT.

On December 5, at WarGames, Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction teamed with Dakota Kai. They were defeated by the team of Cora Jade, Io Shirai, Kay Lee Ray, and González in a WarGames match. In January 2022, At New Year’s Evil, Rose defeated Jade and González in a triple threat match to retain the title.

At Stand & Deliver Rose defended her championship against Jade, Ray, and Shirai in a fatal four-way match. Rose then retained her title against Wendy Choo at In Your House.
