SUMMERSLAM 2026 NIGHT 2 PREDICTIONS

SUMMERSLAM NIGHT 2 MATCH CARD
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins. Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
The whole storyline here is that Roman Reigns can never beat Seth Rollins when it matters, and that still holds true to this day. We realize the only reason this match is happening is so Roman can get the blemish off of his record; we doubt he will be losing the title to Seth Rollins anytime soon. Whether this match goes Roman or Seth’s way, it feels like LA Knight is next in line for a shot, so this may be Rollins’ only chance to win the title for a while. Roman is going to retain here.
Our prediction: Roman Reigns
Penta (c) vs. Chad Gable. Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
For the last two years WWE have had Gable chase the Intercontinental Championship and he still hasn’t had his moment; this year is finally the year of Chad Gable. The crowd is behind him, as they finally want to see Gable holding a singles championship in WWE, something he’s never done before. Penta has been a great champion, but he’s faced about everyone there is to face on Raw and it’s about time for a switch up. Maybe Penta can be moved to the main event scene for a while.
Our prediction: Chad Gable
Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill vs. Chelsea Green vs. C Charlotte Flair vs. Lash Legend. Five-way ladder match for the Interim WWE Women’s Championship
This ladder match on paper is awesome, the fact that it’s for an interim title is not. Interim titles aren’t great in the sense that we know whoever wins is just keeping the belt warm until Ripley comes back and then their title reign will be erased because it was “interim”. The best option to win here is Chelsea Green, she’d probably run with the gimmick the best, however WWE is likely going to give it to Jade or Charlotte. Since Jade won it recently we’re going to go with Charlotte, especially since WWE has been teasing a Charlotte vs Rhea rematch.
Our prediction: Charlotte Flair
Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio. Human Monies on a Pole match
Dominik Mysterio is heading into the biggest match of his career defending the Triple AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano in a few weeks, if he loses to Danhausen tonight how are we meant to take Dom seriously heading into that match. WWE is going back to the WCW days of having matches for things on a pole, except instead of Kidman and Douglas fighting for viagra (yes that happened) instead Dominik and Danhausen are fighting for money that Danhausen stole from the Judgment Day clubhouse. Just let Dominik win and get this over with.
Our prediction: Dominik Mysterio
Sami Zayn vs. Finn Bálor. Singles match to determine the #1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship
This might be the closest Finn ever gets to the world title again, and we do see him beating Zayn here. It might be best for Zayn’s character to go on even more of a downward spiral before trying to go for the title again. Maybe even turn babyface again before going back into the world title scene. Finn Balor has gotten a bunch of wins on SmackDown as of late and we see that momentum continuing here at the biggest party of the summer. Besides a Balor vs Punk rematch for the title will be awesome.
Our prediction: Finn Balor
Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin. Singles match for the WWE United States Championship
Poor Carmelo Hayes, getting snubbed from a big show twice this year now, despite being a part of this rivalry for the title. Baron Corbin coming back is cool, maybe a bit of an odd choice by the WWE but we won’t complain about someone getting work. Baron Corbin has always just been down to do whatever WWE tells him to do, so he’s probably fine coming back just to lose to Trick Williams. Williams has too much momentum right now to be losing to Baron Corbin.
Our prediction: Trick Williams
