SUMMERSLAM 2026 PAY-PER-VIEW NIGHT ONE PREDICTIONS

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Iyo Sky. Singles match for the Women’s World Championship
This match is a lose-lose situation; both of these women really need this win. Liv hasn’t defended this title once since WrestleMania, and if she loses here, then she makes herself and the title look like a joke. Iyo has been on an upward trajectory since missing WrestleMania, getting momentum back, and winning the Queen of the Ring tournament, so losing to Liv here will also make Iyo look like a joke. Realistically, WWE hasn’t shown any interest in making Iyo Sky the face of their women’s division, and it feels like we’re just killing time until Stephanie Vaquer returns to face Liv.
Our prediction: Liv Morgan
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar. Hell in a Cell match
There’s only one real option here; if Oba Femi doesn’t win here, we’ll just be confused about what WWE is doing. Oba Femi needs the rocket to continue being strapped to his back, and losing to Brock Lesnar is the last thing he should be doing. Hopefully Oba challenges for the World Heavyweight Championship next.
Our prediction: Oba Femi
CM Punk (c) vs. Cody Rhodes. Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Championship
This feud has been so bad; instead of turning one of these guys heel, making it a personal feud, they instead kept them both as babyfaces and made them act all buddy-buddy for the last month. It feels like they had Punk take the title off of Sami Zayn for no reason other than WWE loves using the same 4 guys on top. CM Punk just won the title, so it probably doesn’t make sense for Cody to win it back here.
Our prediction: CM Punk
LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys vs. The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso). Six-man tag team match
This match has actually had a really fun build. Babyface Solo Sikoa is the best thing to happen to his career, and he shouldn’t turn heel again. LA Knight could also feud for the World Heavyweight Championship following SummerSlam, so it just makes sense for the team of Knight, Sikoa, and Keys to win. Either way, The Bloodline is going to be alright, so it just makes more sense to let the other group capitalize off of a win over The Bloodline.
Our prediction: LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys
Gunther vs. Nick Aldis. Singles match
After three years, Nick Aldis finally makes his WWE in-ring debut, and we can’t be happier for him, knowing he’s wanted this for a long time. Since Nick Aldis is the SmackDown general manager, it only makes sense for him to lose. Gunther shouldn’t be losing to Nick Aldis in any universe; hopefully that doesn’t happen tonight.
Our prediction: Gunther
The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella and Brie Bella) and Paige vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid, and Fallon Henley). Six-woman tag team match
Fatal Influence need this win, but since Nikki Bella just returned from injury and this match isn’t for the women’s tag team titles, it just kind of spoils the result. The Bellas and Paige are going to win this one, and hopefully after the match Fatal Influence get their heat back in some way. Whether Fatal Influence stand tall after the match or not, we predict that The Bella Twins and Paige are going to win this one.
Our prediction: The Bella Twins and Paige
