BACKLASH 2024 MATCH CARD
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles. Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Championship
This match is here for only one reason. It’s to make sure Cody Rhodes has a great first title defense. The match itself should be really good, but don’t expect Cody Rhodes to lose that title anytime soon. Hopefully this match results in AJ Styles going full heel on Rhodes and we get a rematch at King and Queen of the Ring.
OUR PREDICTION: CODY RHODES
Damian Priest (c) vs. Jey Uso. Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
This match may not be as predictable as people think, it seems there is actually a chance that Jey Uso wins the title here due to the fall of Judgment Day. Also, why would they decide to keep Jey Uso as a singles star on RAW if he wasn’t scheduled to win at some point? However, Priest did just win the title so it seems like he’ll hold it for at least a little longer. We’ll see how things play out but Priest will most likely retain.
OUR PREDICTION: DAMIAN PRIEST
Bayley (c) vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton. Triple threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship
This triple-threat match is here for Naomi to take the pinfall, that’s the only reason she’s here. Either way no one believes that Naomi is winning the title. Bayley just won the title, but her reign is definitely more about the moment of her winning the title compared to the reign itself. Tiffany Stratton will definitely be winning that title one day, but it’s too early now. Bayley will retain.

The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (c) vs. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
In the most predictable title match ever, The Kabuki Warriors are going to defend their tag titles against the unstoppable duo of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. Jade Cargill is not going to lose a wrestling match anytime soon so expect the duo to hold onto those titles for a long time.
OUR PREDICTION: BIANCA BELAIR & JADE CARGILL
Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga). Tag Team match
This is another predictable match, The Bloodline desperately needs this win, and it unfortunately seems like another situation where Kevin Owens is just there to take a pinfall. Tama Tonga will most likely go on some sort of winning streak for a while alongside Sikoa, maybe even a tag title run is in their future. The Bloodline are coming out on top.
