Roman Reigns vs LA Knight Crown Jewel 2023

CROWN JEWEL 2023 MATCH CARD

Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre. Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship

This match has plenty of possible outcomes, but it seems like Seth Rollins is going to retain. Drew McIntyre as a babyface defeating Seth Rollins just doesn’t feel right. Drew will turn heel after the match or on Monday Night Raw setting up a rematch between the two at Survivor Series, and then Drew will finally win the big one. It also doesn’t seem too likely that Damian Priest cashes in tonight.

OUR PREDICTION: SETH ROLLINS

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark vs. Raquel Rodriguez. Fatal five-way match for the Women’s World Championship

This could be the best women’s match of the year. Obviously we’re not expecting a 30-minute masterclass, but instead a 15-minute carwreck that will be the most entertaining match of the night. It doesn’t seem like Ripley would be losing the title here, and no one else in the match is even close to her level of starpower. Rhea Ripley retains, probably by pinning Stark or Baszler.

OUR PREDICTION: RHEA RIPLEY

Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. LA Knight. Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

The chances of LA Knight winning the title here are almost zero. The match should be really special, and the energy will be unmatched, but we all know how this ends. Roman Reigns isn’t losing on any card that isn’t WrestleMania at this point. This match, no matter how it ends will make LA Knight look like a star, but thanks to either Jimmy, Solo, or Heyman we all know that Reigns is walking out with his titles. Hopefully we see him again before the year end.

OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS

Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Logan Paul. Singles match for the WWE United States Championship

People were always saying that Austin Theory did nothing for the United States Championship, well Rey Mysterio isn’t doing any better. It feels like he’s defended it once since August when he won it. Giving the title to Logan Paul would immediately put all eyes onto it, and not just the eyes of fans, but the eyes of outsiders hearing Logan Paul won the title. Logan Paul is the correct choice to win here.

OUR PREDICTION: LOGAN PAUL

Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest. Singles match

In another filler match on Cody’s road to WrestleMania, he goes one on one with Damian Priest. People are sick of this storyline, and just don’t care about this match. It’s of no fault to the performers, the stuff they’re doing is still quality, but they keep shoving this feud down our throats on every single episode of Raw. Cody Rhodes will get another victory at the event when he beats Damian Priest. Hopefully after this it’s something new for Cody.

OUR PREDICTION: CODY RHODES

John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa. Singles match

John Cena hasn’t won a singles match on television since 2018 when he defeated Triple H at The Greatest Royal Rumble event. This should finally be the time he wins again. Nothing against Solo Sikoa, he will still look very strong in the process, but for storyline purposes John Cena needs to win. The fans love John Cena now, and aren’t as upset when he’s on television like they used to be. John Cena deserves the win as he presumably makes another exit from WWE.

OUR PREDICTION: JOHN CENA

Iyo Sky (c) (with Bayley and Dakota Kai) vs. Bianca Belair. Singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship

Iyo Sky’s title reign hasn’t been the greatest, to no fault of her own. She never looks strong when she wins matches, and it feels like every match she’s about to lose yet she just keeps retaining. In this match it seems like Belair is finally going to get her title back, but don’t be surprised if Iyo Sky retains with help from Bayley again. It’ll no doubt be a great match, their last match at Backlash was amazing, but the finish will leave Iyo Sky on top with help from her teammates.

OUR PREDICTION: IYO SKY
