JOHN CENA RETURNS FOR LAST WWE SMACKDOWN OF 2022

On the final Friday Night SmackDown of 2022, John Cena returned to WWE last night and teamed with Kevin Owens to take on WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. Together, Cena and Owens scored a huge victory over Reigns and Zayn.  The Leader of the Cenation and KO hit a double Five Knuckle Shuffle on The Head of the Table and The Honorary Uce. Cena then took out Reigns with the Attitude Adjustment and opened the door for Owens to hit the Stunner on Zayn for the three-count.

John Cena’s return to WWE tonight was his first in-ring television performance since August 2021. At his last televised match, Cena took on Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2021 where he challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championships in the man event. Reigns won that match, and sent Cena back to his duties in Hollywood.
