EXTREME RULES 2022 MATCH PREDICTIONS
Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey. Extreme Rules match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
This match is one of the hardest to predict because it feels like it can go either way. Ronda Rousey could just beat the hell out of Liv Morgan. Or Liv Morgan can use the match stipulation to her advantage. The only way that Liv Morgan wins is if she uses the many weapons under the ring against Ronda Rousey. She can’t beat Rousey in a normal match, so we THINK that Liv Morgan is going to walk away with her championship.
OUR PREDICTION: LIV MORGAN
Matt Riddle vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Fight Pit match
This is the first time we have seen the Fight Pit match on the main roster, and we can’t be more excited. Riddle and Rollins have great chemistry in the ring, and after putting on a great match last month, we think that this one will be even better. Riddle needs this win after losing to Rollins last month and we assume that this will be the end of their feud. Seth Rollins is going to face Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship. Maybe Riddle can feud with Theory or The Judgment Day after this match? Riddle is most likely going to win the match.
OUR PREDICTION: MATT RIDDLE
Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross (with Scarlett). Strap match
This is probably the most unpredictable match of the night. Both men need a victory here, but we think that they will end up giving it to Karrion Kross. We like the stipulation here as it makes the match a lot more interesting than it would be otherwise. Karrion Kross will win with help from Scarlett so that way McIntyre still looks strong in defeat. It’s hard to tell where McIntyre goes from here because we really thought that he would be the one to defeat Roman Reigns last month, but we shall see. Karrion Kross is winning.
OUR PREDICTION: KARRION KROSS
Bianca Belair (c) (with Alexa Bliss and Asuka) vs. Bayley (with Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky)). Ladder match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship
We feel like the only logical result of this match would be Bayley winning. Damage CTRL holding all the titles would be really cool to see, although it would be a little redundant since The Bloodline are doing the exact same thing in the men’s division right now. Bianca Belair has had a really good run with the belt. But she is always better chasing the title instead of being the champion. Bayley deserves the title reign and it opens up the possibility to so many more rivalries.
OUR PREDICTION: BAYLEY
Edge vs. Finn Bálor (with The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley). “I Quit” match
This is another match that is really hard to predict. We don’t see Edge saying “ I quit” but we don’t see Finn Balor losing due to the rumors that there are tons of plans for him to be pushed. Edge has gotten the upper hand on The Judgment Day so many times, and it’s finally time for Finn Balor to pick up a win. Rey will probably come out to help Edge, but in the end, Edge will lose the match.
OUR PREDICTION: FINN BALOR
The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch) vs. Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci). Six-man tag team Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match
This match should be a fun one. We can see it opening the show and being a great start to the night. The Brawling Brutes really need a win, and Imperium can lose as long as Gunther isn’t the one getting pinned. This match will have all of these men going all around the arena, and we expect it to end with Kaiser, or Vinci taking the pinfall.
