NXT NORTH AMERICAN TITLE LADDER MATCH AT HAVOC

NXT HALLOWEEN HAVOC North American Title on the line

WWE has announced that for the fourth time in the North American Championship’s history, the title be on the line in a ladder match. The brutal ladder match will take place at NXT’s upcoming pay-per-view, Halloween Havoc. The match was set as a result of Solo Sikoa unofficially winning the title when he took Wes Lee’s place and beat Carmelo Hayes. The following week, Solo Sikoa was forced to relinquish the title as his win was unsanctioned.

Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels broke the news to Sikoa and Hayes. Carmelo Hayes thought the title would be given back to him but that didn’t happen. Instead, Hayes was granted an automatic spot in the upcoming Halloween Havoc Ladder Match, but the other four participants would have to earn their way into the bout by winning qualification matches over the next few weeks.

So far, Oro Mensah and Wes Lee have earned their spots in the North American Title Ladder Match.

NXT Halloween Havoc takes place on Saturday, Oct. 22, streaming live on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network internationally.
