Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Brackets Revealed

The tournament to determine the winners of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship began this week on Monday Night RAW. The bracket (shown above) revealed that superstars from RAW, SmackDown and NXT will be involved. The biggest surprise here being the unique team from NXT in Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark. The matches are outlined below:

Dana Brooke & Tamina vs. Dakota Kai & IYO SKY

Alexa Bliss & Asuka vs. Nikki A.S.H. & Doudrop

Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah vs. Xia Li & Shotzi

Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark vs. Natalya & Sonya Deville

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship has been vacant since May 2, 2022. The reason for the vacancy is because Sasha Banks and Naomi laid down their titles on the desk of the Head of Talent Relations prior to the May 2 episode of RAW. It was determined that the titles would be left vacant until a future tournament would be held to crown the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
