Brock Lesnar Sitting out Backlash

Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will not be wrestling at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view event in Rhode Island. Backlash takes place on Sunday May 8 and so far, only a handful of matches have been announced. Multiple sources have said that the Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar feud was going to end at WrestleMania 38. There’s no word on whether Lesnar will challenge Reigns for the WWE Championship any time soon. Lesnar hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania 38 but he has been booked for Money in the Bank which is scheduled for Saturday, July 2 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

As of today, WrestleMania Backlash has a few matches booked. Those matches include:

SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defending against Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit”

RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair defending against Sonya Deville

Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins rematch
