BIG E SUFFERS BROKEN NECK ON SMACKDOWN
Former WWE Champion Big E has suffered a broken neck. On tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The New Day fought the team of Sheamus and Ridge Holland. During the match, Ridge Holland attempted a belly-to-belly suplex on Big E outside of the Ring and didn’t get full rotation. Big E landed directly on his head.
Immediately after the failed move, Big E remained on the mat and the camera cut away. The match went to the finish shortly after and Michael Cole informed the audience that medical personnel had come to ringside to tend to Big E.
Big E took to Twitter with a video update explaining he can move all of “his digits” but that he was told his neck is broken.
