TEAM SMACKDOWN CHANGES FOR WWE’S SURVIVOR SERIES
Two members of Team SmackDown have been pulled from the WWE Survivor Series line-ups. Last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown opened with a six-woman tag team match that pitted every member of the women’s Survivor Series elimination team against each other. Aliyah, who was just drafted to SmackDown won the match for her team and then kicked off her Survivor Series squad by Sonya Deville.
Sami Zayn was also removed from the men’s Team SmackDown last night after he complained to Adam Pearce about Jeff Hardy. Pearce then turned around and booked a match between Hardy and Zayn with the loser being kicked off the team. Zayn tried to cheat but was caught by Hardy’s Twist of Fate with a Swanton Bomb that ended in him being pinned. Zayn’s replacement has not yet been announced.
Survivor Series 2021 takes place on Sunday, November 21st at Barclay’s Center in New York. The pay-per-view event starts at 7PM and airs on Peacock in the USA and the WWE Network internationally.
