WWE LEGEND RIC FLAIR RELEASED FROM WWE

Ric Flair is officially no longer under contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. WWE has yet to confirm Flair’s release but various websites have reported that Ric Flair wanted to be released from WWE.

Flair had re-signed with WWE last year after being on a legend’s deal. He was used in the storyline between Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans heading into WrestleMania 37. The storyline was dropped when Lacey Evans became pregnant in real life and was removed from television. Charlotte ended up sending her dad home as a result.

Since the mid-1970s, Rick Flair has used the nickname, “The Nature Boy.” He has officially been recognized by WWE as a 16-time world champion (8-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, 6-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and two-time WWF Champion).
