MONEY IN THE BANK 2021 MATCHES
The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs The Mysterios (Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio) (c). Tag Team match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship
OUR PREDICTION: DOMINIK & REY MYSTERIO
WINNER: THE USOS
RATING: 8/10
For a kickoff show match, this was really good. Due to all of the Jimmy Uso stuff, we’re not big fans of The Usos winning the titles yet as it seems unfair. It is nice seeing The Bloodline with all the championships though. The match ended with The Usos cheating to win but we guess we will be getting a rematch for the titles soon. Overall, a great match especially for the kickoff show.
Nikki A.S.H., Asuka, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, Natalya, and Tamina. Money in the Bank ladder match for a women’s championship match contract
OUR PREDICTION: LIV MORGAN
WINNER: NIKKI A.S.H.
RATING: 3/10
This match sucked. No memorable spots except the stupid Alexa Bliss hypnotism spot. The only redeeming quality that this match had was the winner. It was someone new and we need new stars in the women’s division right now. The ending was also dumb with all the women climbing and Nikki just stealing the briefcase. The worst Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match by far and the lowest point of the show.
AJ Styles and Omos (c) vs The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar). Tag Team match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
OUR PREDICTON: A.J. STYLES & OMOS
WINNER: A.J. STYLES & OMOS
RATING: 7/10
This was a really fun match. They are definitely building up towards Omos betraying AJ Styles though and we don’t want to see that. But the match itself was actually really fun … nothing too special but a fun twelve minutes.
Bobby Lashley (c) (with MVP) vs Kofi Kingston. Singles match for the WWE Championship
OUR PREDICTION: BOBBY LASHLEY
WINNER: BOBBY LASHLEY
RATING: 6/10
Bobby Lashley destroyed Kofi Kingston. It was still enjoyable and made Bobby Lashley look like a threat. Nothing special here as it was a short match but definitely a good showing for Lashley.
Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley (c). Singles match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship
OUR PREDICTION: RHEA RIPLEY
WINNER: CHARLOTTE FLAIR
RATING: 8/10
We hated this storyline and predicted match would be boring. We were wrong – the match was actually really good. These two killed it out there and put on a great match. Our only problem with this match was the finish. Charlotte Flair did not need this win and we’re hoping Rhea Ripley regains her championship soon.
Big E, Ricochet, John Morrison, Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, King Nakamura, and Seth Rollins. Money in the Bank ladder match for a world championship match contract
OUR PREDICTION: DREW MCINTYRE
WINNER: DREW MCINTYRE
RATING: 10/10
This match was perfect. Every man in this match worked really hard out there to steal the show and they succeeded. Jinder Mahal dragging McIntyre out of the match was also a good thing. The spots were brutal and the match was funny when it needed to be. This match had a perfect ending with a perfect winner as well. This might be the greatest Money in the Bank Ladder Match ever.
Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs Edge. Singles match for the WWE Universal Championship
OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS
WINNER: ROMAN REIGNS
RATING: 9/10
Reigns and Edge put on an amazing match, a dream match many fans wanted to see. The Usos came out to help Roman with the Mysterios assisting Edge. The match gave you points where it felt like Edge was actually going to win. In the end, Roman Reigns won with the help of Seth Rollins. Edge vs Rollins is going to happen at SummerSlam and we can’t wait. After the match you heard John Cena’s music hit, the crowd popped and we had a stare down between Cena and Reigns. This match was amazing. One point docked off due to the match being slow in the beginning.
