BRONSON REED WINS NXT NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

On last night’s episode of NXT, Johnny Gargano and Bronson Reed (real name Jermaine Haley) fought in an epic steel cage match for the NXT North American Championship. Reed pinned Gargano after hitting his trademark Tsunami off the top rope. The win marks a 14-year wait to win a title in WWE for Reed and actually occurred 14 years to the day of his professional wrestling debut.

Johnny Gargano was the NXT North American Champion since December 6th, 2020 when he defeated Leon Ruff and Damian Priest in a Triple Threat Match at NXT War Games 2020.
