WWE PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT PREDICTIONS

WRESTLEMANIA 37: NIGHT ONE PREDICTIONS

WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place as a special, two night pay-per-view event for WWE’s RAW and SmackDown brands on April 10 and 11. WrestleMania is WWE’s flagship annual event and this year’s event will host fans at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

WrestleMania 37: Night One Match Predictions

Bobby Lashley (c) (with MVP) vs. Drew McIntyre. Singles match for the WWE Championship

Drew McIntyre is going to pick up a huge WrestleMania win here. This will most likely be the first match on the show and have the crowd cheering for McIntyre. It sucks for Bobby Lashley but hopefully he will get the title back in the future. McIntyre will most likely have a short title reign. This match should be a very physical match and should be a great opener no matter the outcome.

OUR PREDICTION: Drew McIntyre wins

Bad Bunny and Damian Priest vs. The Miz and John Morrison. Tag team match

This is the easiest match to predict on the whole WrestleMania card. Bad Bunny and Damian Priest are going to win. The Miz and John Morrison probably won’t get that much offence in either. Damian Priest will most likely carry the match while Bad Bunny gets a big spot. Expect an okay match.

OUR PREDICTION: Bad Bunny & Damian Priest win

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) (c) vs. AJ Styles and Omos. Tag team match for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship

There are two ways this match can go. The first being Omos turning on AJ Styles and going on a singles run or AJ Styles and Omos winning the titles. Both seem very likely possibilities but Omos and AJ Styles is a lot more likely. It could be great a heel like AJ Styles coming out every week bragging that he is a grand slam champion and Omos won the titles in his first match. Expect a good match with Omos getting the pin.

OUR PREDICTION: A.J. Styles and Omos win

Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon. Steel cage match

Shane McMahon could win but not in a normal way. In a steel cage match you win if you escape the cage. So what will most likely happen is Braun Strowman will throw Shane into the side of the cage making it break and Shane McMahon will roll out of the cage by accident continuing the rivalry. Shane McMahon has done something similar to this at Money in the Bank 2019 against The Miz so it could happen again. Either way Shane McMahon will be put through or thrown off something.

OUR PREDICTION: Shane McMahon wins

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins. Singles match

This match could very well steal the show and it is Cesaro’s first singles match at WrestleMania. Seth Rollins and Cesaro are also very good friends outside the ring and I’m sure Rollins would be glad to put over Cesaro. Cesaro will probably swing Seth Rollins around the ring 200 times in this match. Cesaro should be getting a huge push after this match he deserves it and has for years.

OUR PREDICTION: Cesaro wins

Lana and Naomi vs. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose vs. The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott) vs. Natalya and Tamina vs. Billie Kay and Carmella. Tag Team Turmoil match. Winners receive a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on Night 2.

Lana and Naomi will most likely get the win. They’re not as likeable as the Riott Squad or as strong as Natalya and Tamina but Lana has been feuding with Nia Jax for months now. It is likely Naomi and Lana move onto night two and defeat Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to end this storyline. Don’t expect too much from this match as they will most likely not been given much screen time.

OUR PREDICTION: Naomi and Lana win

Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair. Singles match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

As much as we all want Bianca Belair to win just based on the records of the other NXT wrestlers in the past at WrestleMania, it just is not the time for Bianca Belair to win. Maybe she will win in a rematch at Backlash or Money in the Bank but sadly, we don’t think that Bianca Belair will get her WrestleMania victory and Sasha Banks will get her first WrestleMania win and defend the title.

OUR PREDICTION: Sasha Banks wins
