WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021’s First Inductee: Molly Holly
WWE has announced that Molly Holly is the first inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021. Holly (real name Nora Greenwald Benshoof) was informed of the news by her former colleague Gregory Helms (The Hurricane) on WWE’s program, The Bump.
For WWE fans who are unfamiliar with Molly Holly, she began her professional wrestling career in WCW. She debuted for then-WWF in 2000 as part of The Holly Cousins stable. She was later aligned with The Hurricane. During her career with the WWF/WWE, Molly Holly held the WWF Hardcore Championship once and the WWE Women’s Championship twice making her an overall three-time champion in the WWE.
The WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021. The show, which will stream on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else, will feature the induction of both the 2020 and 2021 classes.
