ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCHES

Jey Uso vs. Kevin Owens vs. King Corbin vs. Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro vs. Daniel Bryan. Elimination Chamber match for a WWE Universal Championship match later that night

OUR PREDICTION: SHEAMUS
WINNER: DANIEL BRYAN
RATING: 8/10

RECAP: This was a really well thought out match. with the build up to this match, we were meant to think Kevin Owens was going to win. Instead, we got Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan and Cesaro started the match with the entry order being King Corbin, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and lastly Jey Uso. King Corbin was eliminated by Cesaro, Sami Zayn was eliminated by Kevin Owens, Kevin Owens and Cesaro were eliminated by Jey Uso before Daniel Bryan eliminated Uso to win the match. Overall this was a really good match and the better of the two chamber matches on the card. Daniel Bryan was also a good choice of winner.

Bobby Lashley (c) (with MVP) vs. Keith Lee vs. Riddle. Triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship

OUR PREDICTION: BOBBY LASHLEY
WINNER: RIDDLE
RATING: 7/10

RECAP: This match seemed like it was going to be a quick title defense for Bobby Lashley before WrestleMania. No one thought Bobby Lashley would lose but it would all make sense later in the night. A short but really fun and fast paced match. We all knew that no matter the situation John Morrison would take the pin. Riddle pinned John Morrison after a quick match. Riddle really deserved this win and it’s nice to see him win his first singles championship in WWE.

Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. SmackDown Elimination Chamber match winner. Singles match for the WWE Universal Championship

OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS
WINNER: ROMAN REIGNS
RATING: 6/10

RECAP: Not the longest match on the card, in fact it was just under two minutes but it perfectly set up a future match between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns at Fastlane next month. This match makes Roman Reigns look strong for WrestleMania when he faces Edge. Daniel Bryan didn’t look weak in defeat as he got a yes lock in on Roman Reigns before getting choked out by the guillotine. Overall, a short and uneventful match but progressed the story well.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

OUR PREDICTION: NIA JAX AND SHAYNA BASZLER
WINNER: NIA JAX AND SHAYNA BASZLER
RATING: 4/10

RECAP: This was the worst match on the card. Why would you make your champion and Royal Rumble winner lose on the way to WrestleMania? Not really the best decision. Overall, it was just your typical Nia Jax match so there were some botches. It wasn’t bad, just something you would see on an episode of SmackDown. The match ended after Reginald handed Sasha Banks a champagne bottle to use as a weapon but Nia Jax capitalized and pinned Sasha Banks to retain. Overall, an average match with really bad booking.

Drew McIntyre (c) vs AJ Styles (with Omos), Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, and Sheamus. Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship

WINNER: DREW MCINTYRE
OUR PREDICTION: DREW MCINTYRE
RATING: 8/10

RECAP: This was a really good chamber match … not as good as the one earlier in the night, but still really good. Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton started the match with the entrants coming out in the order of Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, AJ Styles, and lastly, Sheamus. The eliminations started when Kofi Kingston eliminated Randy Orton and he was then eliminated by Sheamus. Then Jeff Hardy was eliminated by Drew McIntyre with Sheamus by AJ Styles and lastly Drew McIntyre eliminated AJ Styles with an amazing mid-air Claymore Kick. A really good match and a good choice of winner for what was going to happen next.

The Miz defeated Drew McIntyre (c). Singles match for the WWE Championship

WINNER: THE MIZ
RATING: 6/10

RECAP: The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract as soon as McIntyre won the final Elimination Chamber match. Before the match, Bobby Lashley beat down Drew McIntyre and The Miz and then came out and quickly won the title. A surprise ending to the match, but a welcomed one as we think The Miz deserved another title run. Overall, it was definitely a quick match and it will be nice to see where the story goes from here.
