Finn Bálor & Karrion Kross Return to NXT

Finn Bálor has returned to NXT

Finn Bálor returned to NXT tonight after recovering from a broken jaw he suffered at NXT TakeOver: 31 in his match against Kyle O’Reilly. Bálor took a knee to the face during the October 2, 2020 match. He then had to undergo surgery which he shared on his social media accounts. Fortunately, Bálor was not forced to vacate the NXT title like he had to do in 2016 with his WWE Universal Championship.

In his return Wednesday night, Bálor started the show in the ring on the mic. He talked about team sports being over and how the champion is back. The Prince called on anyone in the back to come out and challenge him but before he could finish, Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly and Damian Priest all came out to trash talk and challenge the NXT champion.

Finn Bálor stated he would be defending the title at NXT’s New Year’s Evil show and that William Regal would be picking his challenger.

Karrion Kross Power Bombs Priest

Karrion Kross also returned to NXT tonight. Kross spent months on the injured list after suffering a separated shoulder at NXT TakeOver: 30 on August 23rd. Kross beat Keith Lee for the NXT Championship but had to vacate the title only four days later due to his shoulder injury.

Karrion Kross Returns

In his return, Kross attacked Damian Priest and power bombed him through the floor at the side of the stage. We then saw Kross leave the building and get into the driver’s seat of his car and drove away with Scarlett Bordeaux.
