HELL IN A CELL RECAP & REVIEWS

WWE Hell In A Cell PPV

HELL IN A CELL 2020 Matches

WWE’s Hell in a Cell aired on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on the award-winning WWE Network.

Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso (Hell in a Cell “I Quit” Match)

OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS
WINNER: ROMAN REIGNS
RATING: 9/10

RECAP: Definitely the best match of the night with a lot of cool moments. In the beginning, Jey Uso got a lot of offense in on Roman Reigns and then Reigns took control. After this, a bunch of refs and officials came in the cell and so did Jey Uso’s injured brother Jimmy Uso. Roman Reigns acted like he was sad and felt bad but this was an act. This show of emotion worked and lured Jimmy in. He got the submission move on Jimmy Uso and then after seeing his brother getting attacked, Jey Uso said “I quit”. A great way to kick off the show and probably the best match of the night story-telling wise. Hopefully this isn’t the end of the feud.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton (Hell in a Cell Match)

OUR PREDICTION: RANDY ORTON
WINNER: RANDY ORTON
RATING: 9/10

RECAP: After a long and brutal Hell in a Cell match, Randy Orton finally defeated Drew McIntyre. This match went on top and out of the cell and even had Drew McIntyre fall off the side in a nasty spot that looked brutal and dangerous. The match ended after Randy Orton avoided the Claymore Kick and hit Drew McIntyre with the RKO to win the match. Overall the match of the night and it’s great to see Randy Orton on top of the WWE again.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Sasha Banks (Hell in a Cell Match)

OUR PREDICTION: BAYLEY
WINNER: SASHA BANKS
RATING: 8/10

RECAP: Another great match and the outcome made this match worth the build up that has been going on for years. It was a brutal match with both women looking great. Sasha Banks won the match with the Banks Statement. A match that had high stakes and felt huge since the beginning.

Jeff Hardy vs. Elias

OUR PREDICTION: ELIAS
WINNER: ELIAS
RATING: 3/10

RECAP: A pretty standard match that did not really matter in the grand scheme of things. Elias won this match after he got hit by Jeff Hardy with his guitar. A pretty boring match and had a disqualification finish making it one of the weaker matches of the night, neither man looks stronger than before, and this feud will probably continue.

Bobby Lashley vs. SlapJack – Singles match for the WWE United States Championship

WINNER: BOBBY LASHLEY
RATING: 2/10

RECAP: This was an impromptu match, where Bobby Lashley won in a short amount of time. SlapJack didn’t look good and this didn’t look good for Retribution. Bobby Lashley got the Full Nelson in on SlapJack making him tap out after a short and boring match. Overall no point of this match and wasn’t worth the time.

Otis vs. The Miz – Winner gets Money in the Bank contract

OUR PREDICTION: THE MIZ
WINNER: THE MIZ
RATING: 5/10

RECAP: A boring match, but a good result makes this a pretty good addition to the match card. The Miz won the match after John Morrison was ejected from ringside and Tucker betrayed Otis and hit him with the briefcase. This was really unexpected and The Miz winning was a good choice. Hopefully, he will become the WWE Champion after Orton. Overall, an okay match with a great finish.
