Sami Zayn Vacates Intercontinental Championship

Sami Zayn is no longer the WWE Intercontinental Champion. He was forced to vacate the title after deciding to self-isolate as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Zayn has not been seen on TV in recent weeks. He decided to stop attending WWE tapings after the company gave that option to all talent to do so.

A tournament will begin this Friday on Smackdown to determine the new Intercontinental champion. No contestants have been announced yet.
