NATHAN FRAZER
Benjamin Timms is a 27-year-old British professional wrestler. He is currently signed with WWE where he performs on the company’s SmackDown brand under the ring name, Nathan Frazer.
Early Professional Wrestling Career
Nathan Frazer was trained by professional wrestlers Seth Rollins and Marek Brave at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. He made his professional wrestling debut in 2018 under the ring name Benjamin Carter. Frazer performed in various independent promotions like Resolute Wrestling in Tennessee.
Carter made his AEW debut in September 2020 at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, where he faced Ricky Starks on AEW Dark. He later appeared on AEW Dynamite: Late Night Dynamite in a highly competitive match against Scorpio Sky.
Although Carter impressed fans with his athletic style, his AEW run was short-lived. He finished with a 1–2 record before it was revealed in October 2020 that he was unable to be legally compensated for his matches due to lacking a valid U.S. work visa. Shortly afterward, Carter signed with WWE, officially beginning the next stage of his wrestling career.
Nathan Frazer’s WWE Career
On December 17, 2020, WWE signed Timms and he made his NXT UK under the ring name Ben Carter. At his debut, he unsuccessfully challengED Jordan Devlin for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. In March 2021, he was repackaged as Nathan Frazer. He competed regularly on NXT UK where he teamed with Jack Starz in a failed bid for the Tag Team Championship. He also entered tournaments for the Heritage Cup and United Kingdom Championship. His final match on the brand came on March 3, 2022, in a losing effort against Ilja Dragunov for the UK title.
Moving to NXT 2.0, Frazer debuted at Spring Breakin’ on May 3, 2022. At his debut, he defeated Grayson Waller. He later challenged Carmelo Hayes for the North American Championship but was unsuccessful. On June 13, 2023, Frazer captured the NXT Heritage Cup by defeating Oro Mensah on behalf of an injured Noam Dar, before dropping it back to Dar 69 days later at NXT: Heatwave.
