LOLA VICE
Valerie Loureda, a 26-year-old professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist from Miami, Florida, is currently signed to WWE. She performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Lola Vice. Before joining WWE, she competed in the women’s flyweight division of Bellator MMA.
Loureda is a 4th dan black belt in Taekwondo and was part of the US Olympic Taekwondo team before becoming an MMA fighter. At her MMA debut, she faced Colby Fletcher on February 16, 2019 at Bellator 216 which she won by technical knockout. A few months later, Loureda faced Larkyn Dasch on June 14, 2019, at Bellator 222. She won the bout via unanimous decision.
On August 7, 2020, Loureda faced Tara Graff at Bellator 243 and secured a win by technical knockout. She was originally scheduled to fight Hannah Guy at Bellator 258 on May 7, 2021, but the bout was rescheduled for Bellator 259 on May 21, where Loureda lost by unanimous decision. She returned to the cage on November 12, 2021, at Bellator 271, earning a split decision victory over Taylor Turner.
Pro Wrestling Career
In March 2022, Valerie Loureda attended a WWE tryout during WrestleMania 38 weekend and signed with the company in August. She made her in-ring debut at an NXT live event battle royal on October 28. In December, she revealed her ring name would be, Lola Vice.
Vice made her televised debut on the January 27, 2023, episode of NXT Level Up, losing to Dani Palmer. She teamed with Elektra Lopez in April and officially aligned with her on NXT in June, turning heel. In September, Vice was announced for the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. She defeated Dani Palmer and Karmen Petrovic to reach the final, where she beat Kelani Jordan on October 31 to win the tournament and earn a future NXT Women’s Championship match.
On January 16, 2024, Vice ended her partnership with Lopez by eliminating her from a battle royal. This led to a one-on-one match that Vice won the following week. At Vengeance Day on February 4, she cashed in her contract during the NXT Women’s Championship match, turning it into a triple threat. She was pinned by Lyra Valkyria.
At Spring Breakin’, Lola Vice, accompanied by Shayna Baszler, defeated Natalya in an NXT Underground match. The feud continued with a tag match on May 21. Natalya and Karmen Petrovic beat Vice and Baszler. Vice turned on Baszler, leading to another NXT Underground match at Battleground. Vice won by knockout.
Lola Vice’s Various Feuds
At Heatwave on July 7, Vice unsuccessfully challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship. On the July 9th episode of NXT, she defeated Jacy Jayne but was attacked by Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx. She later defeated Jaida Parker in an NXT Underground match at Deadline on December 7.
At New Year’s Evil on January 7, 2025, Vice lost a fatal four-way to determine the No. 1 contender for the North American title. At Worlds Collide on June 7, she teamed with Stephanie Vaquer to defeat Chik Tormenta and Dalys. Vice then failed to earn a spot in a No. 1 contender’s match for Jacy Jayne’s title at Evolution.
