Jade Arianna Gentile is a 26-year-old professional wrestler from Baldwinsville, New York. She is currently signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and competes in WWE NXT under the ring name Jazmyn Nyx. She is a prominent member of the Fatal Influence stable.
Jade Gentile attended Charles W. Baker High School, where she excelled in soccer, recording an impressive 60 goals and 19 assists during her varsity career. She later enrolled at West Virginia University (WVU), majoring in global supply chain management, while continuing her athletic journey as a member of the university’s women’s soccer team. After college, Gentile played professionally as a forward for the Icelandic club UMF Afturelding.
Early Professional Wrestling Career
On November 10, 2022, Jade Gentile was officially announced as a signee of WW. She joined the WWE Performance Center as part of the Fall 2022 Rookie Class. She made her in-ring debut at a WWE NXT live event on August 18, 2023. Jazmyn teamed with Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice to score a victory over Jacy Jayne, Jaida Parker, and Kiana James in a six-woman tag team match.
In January 2024, now performing under the ring name Jazmyn Nyx, Gentile began appearing on WWE NXT as a student at Chase University. She formed an alliance with fellow student Jacy Jayne. Nyx even took part in Jayne’s “2024 Ladies of Chase U” calendar, which was sold at NXT Vengeance Day to help pull the university out of debt.
On the February 20th episode of NXT, Nyx and Thea Hail accompanied Jayne to ringside. During the match, Nyx used underhanded tactics to secure Jayne’s victory. In the weeks that followed, Nyx and Jayne repeatedly mocked Hail, calling her a “loser.” As a result, this led to Hail snapping on the March 12th episode of NXT.
The feud escalated further on the March 19 episode, when Nyx and Jayne betrayed Chase U. They interfered in Riley Osborne’s match for the NXT Heritage Cup against Drew Gulak of No Quarter Catch Crew, costing Osborne the title opportunity.
On the March 26, 2024 episode of WWE NXT, Jazmyn Nyx made her televised in-ring debut in a singles match against Thea Hail, which ended in defeat. The rivalry escalated at NXT Spring Breakin’ (Week 2) on April 30, when Hail defeated Nyx’s ally Jacy Jayne—legitimately breaking Jayne’s nose during the match.
Fuelled by vengeance, Nyx launched a surprise attack on Hail after her bout with Fallon Henley on the May 14 episode of NXT. She blamed her for Jayne’s injury and promising retribution. On the June 4th episode of NXT, Nyx finally got her revenge. She defeated Hail to earn her first televised singles victory in WWE.
Jazmyn Nyx & Fatal Influence
On July 9, Nyx aligned herself with Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley. The group had grown discontent with NXT rookies receiving preferential treatment. Despite Nyx being a newcomer herself, she was embraced by the duo. The three officially formed the faction Fatal Influence. The group then debuted in six-woman tag team action at NXT: The Great American Bash on July 30. Together, they defeated Karmen Petrovic, Lola Vice, and Sol Ruca.
By September, Fatal Influence had set their sights on the NXT Women’s North American Championship, then held by Kelani Jordan. At NXT Halloween Havoc on October 27, Jordan defended her title in a gauntlet match against all three members of Fatal Influence. Nyx entered first, softening up the champion, and Fallon Henley ultimately pinned Jordan to win the title, securing gold for the faction.
Following their championship victory, Fatal Influence began a heated feud with the newly formed trio of Tatum Paxley, Gigi Dolin, and Shotzi. The two groups faced off at NXT: New Year’s Evil. At the event, Fatal Influence suffered a rare loss in six-woman tag team competition. In late May 2025, reports surfaced that Jazmyn Nyx had been sidelined for undisclosed reasons. This has temporarily halted her rise within the WWE NXT women’s division.
