CARLEE BRIGHT

Kennedy Cummins is a 24-year-old professional wrestler from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Cummins is currently signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She performs under the ring name, Carlee Bright on NXT.

Kennedy attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota where she was a member of the cheerleading team for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Carlee Bright: Professional Wrestling Career

On November 10, 2022, WWE announced the signing of Kennedy Cummins. She was part of the WWE Performance Center’s Fall 2022 Rookie Class. Known as Carlee Bright, she made her in-ring debut on September 29, 2023, at a WWE live event. She teamed with Fallon Henley in a losing effort against Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez.

Bright made her televised debut on the January 19, 2024 episode of NXT Level Up, where she faced Jacy Jayne in a singles match. In the months that followed, she regularly appeared on NXT Level Up, often teaming with fellow rookie Kendal Grey.

Carlee Bright’s Recent WWE NXT Matches

At NXT Stand & Deliver on April 6, NXT General Manager Ava announced the NXT Women’s North American Championship. The new title adds to the growing WWE NXT women’s division. To decide who would compete in the six-woman ladder match at NXT Battleground, WWE held a competitive combine with top NXT talent.

Carlee Bright, a rising NXT star, took part in the preliminary combine. She aimed to secure a spot in the high-stakes title match. However, Bright placed 13th, just missing the cut. Only the top 12 competitors advanced to the qualifying rounds.

Determined to prove herself, Bright challenged Lola Vice on the May 14 episode of NXT. She fought hard to redeem her combine setback and show she belonged in the title picture. Despite a strong effort, she came up short. Though not chosen for the inaugural ladder match, Bright’s determination earned her recognition as a rising contender in the WWE NXT women’s division.

On the June 18 episode of WWE NXT, Carlee Bright faced off against Fallon Henley, but was defeated following a distraction caused by Wendy Choo, who attacked Bright’s tag partner Kendal Grey at ringside. The interference proved costly, giving Henley the opportunity to secure the win.

Bright tried to settle the score with Wendy Choo on the July 2 episode of NXT, but lost again in singles action. She returned on July 23 to face Wren Sinclair, putting in a solid performance. However, Charlie Dempsey of the No Quarter Catch Crew interfered, helping Sinclair secure the pinfall victory.

Bright’s WWE Evolve Matches

Bright rebounded on the March 5, 2025 episode of WWE Evolve, competing in the brand’s revival under the WWE banner. Teaming with Kendal Grey, she scored a key tag team win over Kali Armstrong and Dani Palmer, marking a milestone in her career and the new era of Evolve Wrestling.
