BROOKS JENSEN
Benjamin Buchanan, better known by his WWE ring name Brooks Jensen, is a 23-year-old professional wrestler from Ranburne, Alabama. He is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and competes on the NXT brand.
Buchanan is a second-generation wrestler and the son of Bull Buchanan, a former WWE superstar who wrestled from 1997 to 2003. Carrying on his father’s legacy, Brooks Jensen brings a powerful style and Southern grit to the NXT roster.
Early Wrestling Career
Brooks Jensen began his professional wrestling journey on March 2, 2019, working across independent promotions in Alabama and Georgia. Between 2020 and 2021, he captured multiple Tag Team Championships and earned a Heavyweight Title, showcasing his rising potential. He quickly made a name for himself on the Southern wrestling circuit with consistent performances and championship victories.
Brooks Jensen Signs with WWE
On August 30, 2021, WWE officially announced Buchanan’s signing as part of a new class reporting to the WWE Performance Center. He made his televised debut on the September 14 episode of NXT 2.0 as Brooks Jensen, teaming with fellow newcomer Josh Briggs. The duo faced Imperium (Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner) in their debut match. Jensen and Briggs later competed in the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and challenged for the NXT Tag Team Championships.
Jensen & Briggs Win Gold
On the June 22, 2022 taping of NXT UK, Jensen and Briggs won a Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match to capture the vacant NXT UK Tag Team Championship. They became the first and only American tag team to win the titles, cementing their place in NXT history.
