BRONCO NIMA
Edwin Grande, known in the ring as Bronco Nima, is a 23-year-old professional wrestler from Oakland, California. He is currently signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and competes on its NXT brand.
Athletic Background
Before wrestling, Grande was a standout offensive lineman at Monterey Peninsula College and the University of Idaho. He showcased his athleticism in football, playing for the Houston Blues during the 2020 Spring League season. His football experience laid a strong foundation for his transition into the world of professional wrestling.
WWE Debut and Early Career
In 2022, Grande signed a developmental contract with WWE and began training at the WWE Performance Center. On August 12, Bronco Nima made his in-ring debut, teaming with Lucien Price in a losing effort against Andrew Chase and Bodhi Hayward. He and Price returned to the ring on August 26, suffering a second loss to Malik Blade and Edris Enofé. In June 2023, they were again defeated, this time by Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
Nima also competed as a singles wrestler, challenging Duke Hudson on the September 16 episode of NXT Level Up but fell short. He and Price continued to team up, facing duos like Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen and the recurring pair of Blade and Enofé. Despite multiple setbacks, the duo showed steady improvement and chemistry in tag team competition.
Formation of Out the Mud (OTM)
In 2023, Nima, Price, Jaida Parker, and SCRYPTS formed the NXT stable Out the Mud (OTM).
OTM brought a gritty, street-inspired presence to NXT’s tag team and faction scene.
On January 14, 2025, OTM challenged Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship but failed to win the titles. The loss didn’t slow them down, as the group remained active and focused on dominating the NXT tag division.
Following the expiration of Scrypts’ WWE contract, he exited the faction, and OTM continued as a three-member mixed stable. On May 14, Out the Mud secured a major victory over Malik Blade and Edris Enofé, showing strong momentum. OTM remains a rising force in NXT and continues to pursue championship success on WWE programming.
