Fatu began his professional wrestling career in 2018 and wrestled for independent promotions including Arizona Wrestling Federation and Future Stars of Wrestling.

Solo Sikoa Signs with WWE

In August 2021, Fatu signed a contract with WWE and made his in-ring debut with the company in November defeating Jeet Rama. The following week he defeated Grayson Waller and LA Knight in a 3-way match. Sikoa’s winning streak continued with him defeating Andre Chase,  Edris Enofe, Malik Blade, Santos Escobar and Boa. His first loss came at the hands of Gunther in March 2022.

On the March 22nd episode of NXT 2.0, he defeated Roderick Strong to qualify for the North American title match. At NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Solo Sikoa participated in a 5-way ladder match along with Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, Santos Escobar and Cameron Grimes for the NXT North American title. Cameron Grimes won the title. Three days later on April 5’s NXT episode, Solo Sikoa challenged Grimes to a match for the North American title.

On the following week’s episode of NXT 2.0, Cameron Grimes defeated Sikoa to retain the North American Championship. Sikoa continued his pursuit for the NXT North American title over the next few months. He challenged the new NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes on June 11th but was unsuccessful. On the June 21st episode of NXT, Sikoa lost to Grayson Waller.

Sikoa’s Main Roster Debut

At WWE’s Clash at the Castle pay-per-view event, Solo Sikoa made his main roster debut. During the main event, Roman Reigns was able to retain his WWE Universal Championship because of Sikoa’s interference in the match. On the September 9th episode, Solo Sikoa made his official debut alongside The Usos.

Solo Sikoa returned to NXT on the September 13th episode and successfully challenged Carmelo Hayes for the NXT North American Championship. A week later, Shawn Michaels informed Solo that he had to vacate the NXT North American Championship. Michaels told Sikoa that he wasn’t voted on by the fans to face Carmelo Hayes so the results of that match could not stand.
