DOLPH ZIGGLER WINS WWE NXT CHAMPIONSHIP

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode celebrate Ziggler winning the NXT title on tonight's NXT Roadblock.

Dolph Ziggler is the new WWE NXT Champion. In tonight’s main event at NXT Roadblock, Dolph Ziggler defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker in a triple threat match.

Ziggler won the match after knocking out Tommaso Ciampa with a superkick just after Bron Breakker was knocked out of the ring. The NXT Universe went wild as fans in the building erupted. They were clearly not expecting to see Breakker lose the title tonight.

Breakker’s first reign with the NXT title ends at 63 days. He held the title since defeating Ciampa on the New Year’s Evil NXT 2.0 episode on January 4.

The Roadblock result seems to have set up a Ziggler vs. Breakker title match for Stand & Deliver on Saturday, April 2. No announcement has been made as of yet, but stay tuned for updates.
