ZOEY STARK
Theresa Serrano is a 30-year-old American professional wrestler from Utah. She is currently signed with the WWE and performs on the company’s RAW brand under the ring name, Zoey Stark.
Serrano made her in-ring debut in June 2013 at Vendetta Pro Wrestling where she lost to Hudson Envy. On November 16, 2013, she began wrestling using the ring name Lacey Ryan and won her first match against Larry Butabi. During this time, she also won the UCW-Zero Ultra-X Championship. Her title reign lasted until January 25, 2014, when she lost it to The Durango Kid. She went on a three year hiatus after her last match on March 22nd, 2014.
Serrano’s Return to Wrestling
On August 16, 2018, Serrano returned to wrestling for Dallas Championship Wrestling in a match against Thunder Rosa that ended in a no contest. The following month, she teamed with Thunder Rosa at DCW What Doesn’t Kill You in a tag match they lost to Lady Poison & Wesley Crane.
Beginning in January 2019, Serrano began a more active in-ring run, with matches for Sabotage Wrestling, Lucha Brutal (under the ring name Serrano), Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, Future Stars Of Wrestling, United Wrestling Network and SHIMMER Women Athletes
On September 29th 2019, she defeated Taya Valkyrie for the FSW Women’s Championship. She held the title until November 20, 2020, when she lost it to Mazzerati.
Serrano Signs with WWE
On January 20th 2021, WWE announced that Serrano was one of three female wrestlers including Elayna Black and Priscilla Kelly that the company had signed. She was assigned a new ring name, Zoey Stark. She debuted on the January 29th episode of 205 Live teaming with Marina Shafir in the opening round of the 2021 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They were eliminated by Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart.
Zoey Stark’s NXT Debut
Stark made her debut on the February 17th episode of NXT where she won her first singles match against Valentina Feroz. She then teamed with Io Shirai in a challenge at NXT: The Great American Bash where they defeated Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell to become the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. This marked Zoey Stark’s first title reign in her rookie year since joining WWE NXT.
