OMOS

iTolulope “Jordan” Omogbehn is a Nigerian-born professional wrestler and former college basketball player. He is currently signed to WWE and performs on Monday Night RAW under the ring name, Omos.

Omogbehn began playing basketball in high school as a center. He continued playing basketball while attending the University of South Florida (USF) and also played for Morgan State University after transferring from USF.

Omogbehn Signs With WWE

On October 17th, 2018, WWE reported that it had signed Omogbehn and six other athletes to train at the WWE Performance Center. Omogbehn made his in-ring debut on July 18th, 2019 at a house show. At his debut, he defeated Team 2.0 in a two-on-one handicap match. He wrestled at house shows for several months until June 15 2020 when he made his television debut on Monday Night RAW.

In his television debut, Omogbehn was introduced as a surprise member of Akira Tozawa’s ninja faction. At the time, he was referred to as the “Big Ninja.” At this match, he stood at ringside during team Tozawa’s tag match against The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders. He was then repackaged as a bodyguard serving as a doorman/bouncer for Shane McMahon’s RAW Underground.

Omo’s Alliance with A.J. Styles

After RAW’s Underground was cancelled, Omogbehn began associating with A.J. Styles. At the Survivor Series pay-per-view event in November 2020, Omogbehn began using his new ring name, Omos. A month later, at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, Omos was involved in the WWE title TLC match. He prevented The Miz from reaching the title and dropped him onto a table placed outside the ring before chasing John Morrison to the backstage.

At the 2021 Royal Rumble event, Omos assisted A.J. Styles on multiple occasions and prevented Styles from elimination. Omos even eliminated Big E and Rey Mysterio from the Rumble despite not being an official participant in the match. Omos also helped A.J. Styles enter the Elimination Chamber match early before being ejected by WWE official, Adam Pearce.

Omos & A.J. Styles Capture RAW Tag Team Championship

On Monday Night RAW’s March 15th episode, Omos announced that he would be making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37. Omos and A.J. Styles would challenge The New Day for the RAW Tag Team Championship. On April 10, 2021 at WrestleMania 37, Omos and A.J. Styles defeated The New Day for the RAW Tag Team Championship. This would be Omos’ first championship reign in WWE.

Omos and A.J. Styles lost the RAW Tag Team Championship titles at SummerSlam 2021 to Randy Orton and Riddle (RK-Bro). Omos and Styles teamed with Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules. Together, they wrestled The New Day in a 6-man tag team match, in which Styles, Omos and Lashley lost. After this, it was announced that Styles and Omos would face RK-Bro in a rematch for the tag team titles at Crown Jewel. At the event, they failed to regain the titles.

Omos Wins Big At Survivor Series

At Survivor Series on November 21, 2021, Omos would participate in a 25-man dual-branded battle royal in honor of the 25th anniversary of The Rock’s debut at the 1996 Survivor Series. Omos had the most eliminations at 12. He won the match by last eliminating Ricochet.

After weeks of tension between him and Styles, on the December 20, 2021 episode of RAW, Omos refused to tag into their match against Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. This cost them the match. A fight broke out between them, effectively ending their alliance when Omos turned on Styles. A week after splitting up from A.J. Styles, Omos defeated Styles on the January 3rd, 2022 episode of Monday Night RAW.

Omos went on to compete in the 2022 Royal Rumble where he would enter at number 11. He eliminated Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, and Damian Priest before he was eliminated by Styles, Austin Theory, Chad Gable, Dominik Mysterio, Ricochet, and Ridge Holland.
